The EGL Nordic team consists of 30 employees with comprehensive trading and origination experience from both the Continental and the Nordic energy markets. EGL Sverige, a part of the EGL Nordic team, is a leading independent portfolio manager and physical supplier in the Swedish energy market.

Physical Portfolio Manager  

YOUR JOB:

·         Be part of team responsible for the daily physical spot trading in the Nordic region

·         Have contacts with customers, i.e. industries, retailers and wind producers, and be able to discuss the power market and our business with the customers

·         Plan and nominate consumption- and production prognosis for total EGL Nordic Group in all price areas in Sweden, Norway, Finland, Denmark and Baltic

·         Create reports on outcome of physical spot trading and analyse risks and opportunities on the physical spot market. Actively make suggestions of how performance can be improved

·         Analyse large amounts of data, structure data, draw conclusions and make decisions

·         Actively participate in the development of a rapidly growing business and suggest new routines and processes and participate in the implementation of these

YOUR PROFILE:

We believe you have a Master of Science or a Master of Business Administration and have a keen interest in the energy markets. You are in the beginning of your career and have around 2-5 years’ work experience. We are looking for a person with an entrepreneurial mindset, who is genuine positive and that drives from problem-solving. Furthermore you possess excellent analytical skills and an eagerness to learn. You are an excellent team player who also have the ability to work independently. Experience from the energy markets is meritorious but not a requirement.
